I am 40 weeks and TODAY is my due date - but still no baby! I think she has decided to hibernate for the upcoming winter. My doctor did inform me that if she doesn't come soon they will induce. I know some say let it happen naturally - but when you're in my body - you're ready to do whatever to get things moving. Hopefully it won't be long before I will be holding my baby in my arms instead of my stomach. Check back soon for pictures and birth information. Thank you again for everyone's suggestions, and remember I'll continue to have more questions after I give birth.

I am less than a week away from my due date and I am now open to any suggestions of how to get her out. Patience is definitly hard. I am trying to wait and not go crazy, but it's a little difficult. I keep telling myself she is going to come in just the right time - I just have to make it sink in. Before I go into labor are there any last minute things I need to about what to bring, what to expect at the hospital or just more advice? Thank you to all who have commented, and I'm sure I'll have plenty more questions once my baby gets here - so get ready to keep responding!

I am now 38 weeks and beginning to feel very heavy! I have dilated 1 centimeter. Which I know I still have a ways to go, but it was encouraging to me to know something is happening. I know it's different for every woman, but I was just curious as to how long it took some of you to jump to good labor.

At 37 weeks they tell me if I were to go into labor everything should be okay with the baby. Of course that just make me want to hurry up and have her - but I don't think I will. I have notice this last month that my hands are numb. My left hand is that way all the time. My doctor told me it happens to some women during pregnancy and that the feeling should come back after delivery. I would like to know if this has happened to anyone else during pregnancy, and if so how long did it take to get the feeling back in your hand. It's really starting to bother me because I would like to be able to feel my baby in my hands when she is born.
